Book Buccal Facial Massage

Make room for a softer jaw.

Personalized buccal intraoral and external facial massage focused on jaw and facial tension, including clenching-related tightness. Candice works inside the cheeks and externally through the face, jaw, neck and facial fascia, adapting pressure and pace to your comfort. Clients seeking support with TMJ-related muscular tension are welcome; this service supports facial comfort and relaxation and does not diagnose or treat a TMJ disorder.

Choose a technique-focused session or a more ceremonial experience with grounding and optional sound and energy work. Intraoral work uses gloves and requires your consent; you can pause or decline it at any time.

Focused jaw and facial tension care.

What is buccal massage?

Buccal means cheek. This technique combines gloved massage inside the cheeks with external facial work. It is always optional, and you can pause or decline intraoral work at any time.

Who is this session for?

Clients often arrive with tight cheeks, a tired-feeling jaw or tension associated with clenching. The session focuses on muscular comfort and relaxation. Persistent pain, locking or swelling needs assessment by your dentist or medical professional.

What happens during your visit?

We begin with your goals, relevant history and comfort preferences. Pressure and techniques are tailored throughout the session, with attentive work around the face, jaw, neck and scalp. Choose focused hands-on care or include optional grounding and ceremonial elements.

Optional time extensions: 15 minutes for $55 or 30 minutes for $100, subject to availability. Current booking policies and appointment times are shown on GlossGenius.

Which facial should I choose?

Choose The Ritual for a custom blend of skincare and touch, Buccal Massage for targeted jaw and facial tension work, or Gua Sha + Lymphatic for a gentler, external massage-focused experience.

Does buccal massage treat a TMJ disorder?

Buccal massage here is intended for facial relaxation and cosmetic care, not diagnosis or treatment of temporomandibular disorders. Persistent pain, locking, swelling or difficulty opening your mouth should be evaluated by a dentist or medical professional. Learn about TMD from NIDCR

What should I share before my facial?

Tell Candice about skin sensitivity, active irritation or infection, recent dental work, procedures, injectables and relevant health concerns before treatment. Some techniques may need to be adapted or postponed. Obtain guidance from your treating clinician after a procedure.

Is energy work required?

No. Your experience can be grounded in hands-on facial techniques, or include sound, grounding and energy work if that feels right for you. Your preferences are always welcome.

Where do I book and review policies?

Book online through GlossGenius. Current availability, payment requirements and cancellation terms are shown there before you confirm.

Jaw & facial tension relief

Care that starts with understanding.

Is buccal massage the same as intraoral massage?

Buccal means cheek. At Ritual, buccal facial massage combines gloved work inside the cheeks with external facial massage. Intraoral describes the part performed inside the mouth. We explain each step, adjust pressure to your comfort and always ask for your consent.

I clench my jaw. What should I book?

Choose Buccal Facial Massage — Jaw & Facial Tension for focused hands-on care around the cheeks, jaw, face and neck. Share your concerns and any dental or medical guidance before your visit. We tailor the session to your comfort; it does not diagnose the cause of clenching or promise to stop it.

When should I see a dentist or doctor first?

Persistent jaw pain, locking, swelling or difficulty opening your mouth needs assessment by a dentist or medical professional. Facial massage supports comfort and relaxation and is not a replacement for diagnosis or treatment of a TMJ disorder.
