What should I expect?
Expect to leave your facial feeling relaxed and revived. All of our products are seaweed-based and include active plant botanicals, resulting in a nourishing treatment to reinvigorate the skin. Combined with our signature, craniosacral inspired therapeutic massage, this facial will leave your skin glowing without irritating extractions or harsh treatments.
Do I need to wash my face prior to the facial?

Will my skin be red and irritated after my facial?
Ritual facials focus on restoring and nourishing the skin with our soothing seaweed-based products. Most guests walk away from their facial looking refreshed and ready to take on the day with a gorgeous glow!
Our facials do not include harsh treatments like peels. Some of our products with more active botanical ingredients and/or our signature facial massage may activate circulation, bringing a rosy flush to the skin. This typically eases within a couple of hours.
Drinking plenty of water to keep skin hydrated post-facial will reduce any flushing. Remember that sun exposure, alcohol, and caffeine can also dehydrate skin and cause further redness.
Where do I park?
There is limited parking in the parking lot just east of Ritual. There is ample metered parking on both Catalina Ave and Avenue I, or if you park a block or two away you will be able to find residential parking with no meters.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive about 5-10 minutes before your appointment to have a glass of water and relax before your session. Make sure to fill your forms out online before arriving to save time. There is a quick and easy link to follow in your confirmation message that will allow you to do this with ease.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your Ritual, please allow a minimum of 24-hours notice. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will be charged 100% of the service fee.
Additionally, No-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.
Late Policy
If you are up 20 minutes late for your 60- to 80 minute facial, you can have the remaining time at full cost. If you are up to 10 minutes late for your 25-minute facial, you can have the remaining time at full cost. Clients later than this will be asked to reschedule.
Post-Treatment:
How do I care for my skin after my facial?
Your esthetician will advise on how to best treat your individual skin after your facial. In general, stay out of the sun and try to relax the rest of the day. Stay hydrated with plenty of water and be sure to use a fresh pillowcase that night.
Can I wear makeup right after the facial?
It is best to let your skin breathe and absorb all of the nutrients from your treatment.
